I am not good at this blogging thing. But I am trying. About every 3 months. #keepinitreal
But the good news is that I scheduled a post for next week, so be on the lookout. It is on a subject near and dear to my heart.
Since we last had a chat I took my 3 day exam for licensure in the state of Oregon and
PASSED. The wait for results took F O R E V E R. But now I get to smile every time I see the board results front and center on the fridge. I am waiting until January 2017 to get my license and will be joining a practice as an associate at that time. Details are still in the works, but as soon as I have a signed contract I will share them with you.
In just a couple of short weeks I will be joining some ladies for the Refresh Summit in Tennessee. I connected with Bobbi McCormick of nHerShoes and offered to give a workshop on nutrition for the crew. I don’t think I was quite prepared for her to say yes, but I am sure this is what God wants me doing, and why he had me go through the mess of school. My prayer is that I can encourage these women and give them some resources to make informed decisions about their nutrition and how it can fuel their love of fitness.
Our vacation to Europe was cancelled and there was no sleeping in or European chocolate. Mark got a new job (huge blessing) which unfortunately resulted in us canceling the trip since he started the same week we were planning on leaving. We are planning another mini vacation (just a few nights) to Boston later this year. Seeing it with all the Christmas lights and hopefully some snow will be beautiful. We are going to stay in in the North End area. Any recommendations on places to visit/ things to do?
That is all for now. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Higgins is excited that there will be no more notecards. Ever. For reference, he is not a small dog. He tips the scales at close to 100lbs, just so you have an idea how big that stack of notecards really is.
